Decapping of Long Noncoding RNAs Regulates Inducible Genes - Decapping represents a critical control point in regulating expression of protein coding genes. Genes that react to cellular sugar content are regulated by a long non-coding RNA via an unexpected mechanism. Researchers demonstrate that decapping also modulates expression of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs). Reference: S.
